Profile Information

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide through our questionnaire. This includes your responses to questions about preferences, boundaries, and desires. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personally identifiable information unless you explicitly choose to share a profile link.

Technical Information

We collect minimal technical data necessary for the app to function: browser type, device type, and accessibility preferences. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics, or advertising technologies.

Local Storage

Your responses are primarily stored locally on your device using browser storage. This means your data stays on your device unless you explicitly create a shareable profile link.

How We Use Your Data

  • ✓Profile Creation: To generate your sexual compatibility profile and create shareable links if you choose.
  • ✓Comparison: To compare your profile with others when you view their shared links, showing only mutual interests.
  • ✓Improvement: Anonymized, aggregated data may be used to improve question suggestions and app functionality.
  • ✗We NEVER: Sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than the core functionality of the app.

Security Measures

Encryption: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS protocols.

Plausible Deniability: Profile IDs are randomly generated and cannot be linked back to you. Even if someone discovers your profile link, they cannot determine who created it.

No Logs: We do not maintain logs of who views which profiles or when profiles are accessed.

Data Minimization: We collect and store only the absolute minimum data necessary for the app to function.

Your Control & Rights

Share on Your Terms: You decide when and with whom to share your profile. Profiles are only accessible via the unique link you generate.

Delete Anytime: You can delete your profile at any time. Simply clear your browser data or use the "Reset" option in the app. Shared profile links will expire after 90 days of inactivity.

Export Your Data: You can view and export all your responses at any time from your profile page.

Accessibility Preferences: Your accessibility settings (font, size, theme) are stored locally and never leave your device.

Legal Compliance

Age Requirement: You must be 18 years or older to use MyCherryCV. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

GDPR & CCPA: We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy regulations. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time.

Law Enforcement: We will only disclose user data in response to valid legal processes (court orders, subpoenas). In such cases, we will notify affected users unless legally prohibited.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by displaying a notice on the app or updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
